- Father: Dr. Dinesh Agrawal, Professor at Penn State University, got an education at Banaras Hindu University and IIT Kanpur moved to the USA in 1975 and did Ph.D. in Physics at Penn State. Has two brothers, both retired and living in India. Two sisters both married and settled in Bareilly, UP.
- Mother: Sadhna Agrawal, who works as an Accounting Assistant at Penn State University; originally from Kanpur, has two brothers and one sister, all well settled in Kanpur, Delhi, and Mumbai respectively. Father retired from Reserve Bank of India.
- Brother: Rishi Agrawal who graduated from Penn State in 2014 and is now a graduate student in Biochemistry at Columbia University in New York City working on his Ph.D. Immediate Family in India:
- Paternal grandparents passed away and the ancestral home is in Sambhal, UP where her two Tauji’s live when not visiting their children in Australia and the US.
