We are a Kumaoni Brahmin family from Almora, Uttarakhand. Our family is of professionals- the father being an engineer and mother being a doctor. Father retired recently - was serving as CEO of a large Public Sector Enterprise (PSE) and mother is working as Chief Medical Officer in a PSE. Post-retirement father is now working as Non-Executive Chairman of London-based company and group adviser to leading Indian corporate as well as a European company. The younger brother is an engineer and works as a management consultant. The extended family includes 5 brothers, all being well settled as doctor/senior defense officers, Management professionals with their children/grandchildren.
