- Ours is a very close-knit family of three people i.e. his sister and Me(mother).
- His father left us for the heavenly adobe in 2003 and was a vascular surgeon from U.S.S.R.
- We belong to a family of educationists as his paternal grandmother (Late Ms.Hemlata Swarup) was the former vice-chancellor Kanpur University and his Maternal grandmother (Late Ms.Kokila Saksena) was a Reader (Economics) at Delhi University.
- His paternal grandfather (Late Mr. H.L.S.Sharma) was a doctor with IIT Kanpur and his maternal grandfather (Late Mr. B.C.Saksena) was a technical director with Doordarshan.
