I have very liberal views but as far as my personal values and conduct are concerned, I am very Indian. I am deeply attached to my family (especially my mother and sisters), am knowledgeable of Hinduism and extremely well read. I have taught in some of the world’s greatest educational institutions.

I am looking for someone who is very well educated and has traditional Indian values. Having worked with some of the brightest women in the world (in addition to having very accomplished sisters), I despise chauvinism or discrimination in any form.

I love animals and have a Huskie and Yorkshire Terrier who are essentially like my children. I am a vegetarian not because of religious belief but because of ethical considerations (Ahimsa Paramo Dharma). I love the Quiz show Jeopardy and my proudest accomplishment is having been a semi-finalist in India’s most difficult college quiz.

I have been practicing martial arts for a few years now and have a green belt in Taekwondo.
