I graduated from BITS Pilani and did my MBA (Finance) in the US. Am currently working for a financial services firm in New York. I come from a well known and respected family in Chennai. My paternal grandfather was a leading stock broker in Chennai, while my maternal grandfather was an industrialist from Bangalore. My dad was a scientist with the defense department and is now retired. I have two siblings of whom I am the eldest. My younger sister and brother are both married and settled in India.

As for my general personality, I would describe myself as a friendly, cheerful, fun loving and easy going guy. My hobbies include playing tennis and badminton, reading (mostly non-fiction) and listening to music. I learnt a bit of classical Indian music which helps me enjoy all genres of music. Am quite environment conscious and believe in animal rights.
