He took up a job as a Management Trainee in KPMG for a short period in the Governance, Risk and Compliance Department before he moved to CRISIL where he worked as a Research Analyst until August 2011.
Sharan went on to pursue his Master’s in International Management from King’s College, London. On graduating in 2012, he decided to relocate to Chennai to join his family business which is into manufacturing and exporting apparel to leading brands in the US and Europe.
