Saurabh Bajpai was born on 3rd September 1986 in Lucknow. He spent his initial years in Mumbai, where he studied at Campion School; and in Chennai, where he studied at Padma Seshadri. He moved with his family to London, U.K. in 1999 and completed his high school from the American School in London in 2004. Then he went to United States and attended the University of Pennsylvania, as a Huntsman Scholar, for his undergraduate studies where he received a B.A. from the College of Arts and Sciences dual-majoring in International Studies and Business. He received a B.Sc. from Wharton Business School with dual-concentrations in Finance and Accounting. Upon graduation in 2008, Saurabh worked for three years as an investment banker in New York City, USA in Lazard’s Mergers and Acquisitions group with a focus on Telecom, Media and Technology. Subsequently, in 2011, Saurabh moved to Abu Dhabi, UAE where he worked in the private equities group of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. Saurabh returned to US in August 2013 to pursue his MBA at Wharton College, which he completed in May 2015. He then joined a leading global Private Equity multinational L Catterton in Singapore and is Senior Vice President. Saurabh is a British citizen, an Overseas Citizen of India and a US green card holder. Saurabh is fluent in Hindi and English.
