Well, here's a little about me. I grew up in Jamshedpur and had a middle class upbringing with an emphasis on integrity, hard work, and personal accountability. I also received a decent education which went beyond the books I studied to earn my degrees (I have a BE in engineering and an MS in economics from BITS-Pilani, and an MBA from a top-20 B-school in the US... I work as a senior marketing professional at a Fortune 50 company). I am intelligent, articulate, and well read, and have a wide range of interests from the arts and sciences to philosophy and politics. I am passionate about music and my life's big regret is that I don't play an instrument. I enjoy travel (have done a fair bit but have a long bucket list) and all kinds of food. I am gregarious but need my moments of solitude. I enjoy a serene hike, a stirring concert, or a nap on the couch... and I'll take any one of these over clubbing, petty gossiping, or mindless socializing.

I am driven by a strong value system (can you tell yet that I am an idealist?) And I want to unequivocally say that I detest moral expediency, intellectual laziness, narcissism, bigotry, manipulative behavior, and pretentiousness.

I'd like to meet an attractive and intelligent woman who has similar values and tastes. A woman with a zest for life... someone who can slip into a pair of jeans to do chores or dress up all fancy for a candlelit dinner... someone who can travel the world or have a good conversation at home on a rainy day. A strong, balanced, compassionate woman who places a premium on family, commitment, and everything a marriage stands for. Oh, and a sense of humor...
