I did most of my schooling, including my undergrad, in India but have been living and working in New York City for close to a decade now. Education is a big part of my life and this fall I will be starting business school at MIT (Sloan School of Management).

I’m an outgoing person and passionate about using my skills in making a difference amongst those around me. Currently, I work as a Vice President at a major Investment Bank but eventually want to start my firm to provide advisory services to fintech companies that are trying to make financial services more inclusive, especially for the less affluent. Outside work, I volunteer at a few nonprofits that focus on various issues ranging from advancing education to empowering underprivileged women.

In my free time, I love to spend time outdoors / workout, travel, read, and spend time with my friends. Fitness has always been an important part of my life and I take various classes in the city – currently, I’m trying my hand at Jiu-Jitsu. I love traveling and want to do more in the coming years – Paris and Istanbul are on top of my list for the next destinations. I’m a self-proclaimed nerd and read on a ton of topics – psychology, business, and historic fiction to name a few."
