About
Ram was born and brought up in Chennai where he studied at PSBB and IIT-Madras. At IIT-Madras, he pursued a 5-year integrated Bachelors-cum-Masters program in Computer Science and graduated summa cum laude being the university topper. During his time at IIT-M, he discovered his entrepreneurial passion and co-founded a startup (and helped scale couple of other ideas). Towards the end of his university stint, he took a decision to move to the US and join Microsoft to gain more exposure. He has helped scale one of the fastest growing businesses in Microsoft’s cloud in the last 3 years and now leads a team there in Seattle. Long term, he sees himself pursuing his passion of building the next billion-dollar business (and strongly believes in the untapped potential in India)
He loves travel (and does so frequently for both pleasure and work) and has a penchant for the finer things in life. Loves socializing, meeting new people and is open to new experiences. Also follows a strong fitness ethic

Ram’s dad is a Charted Accountant by qualification holding Fellow memberships in both the CA & CS institutes. He is the Chief Financial Officer of Binny Pvt Limited & Group. He is also a seasoned investor in the share market and drives private equity deals in multiple areas particularly real estate.
Ram’s mom is a registered medical practitioner (MBBS) but currently stopped practicing. Currently, she spends more time in non-profit being a trustee of the Mugavari Foundation focused on the upliftment of underprivileged children through education.
