If I took the time to count my blessings, i would have no time to complain. i am very thankful for the abundant blessings in life. i try my best to stay connected at all times by practicing gratitude and by sharing love with others. i believe thankfulness and loving others is what truly pleases and glorifies god.

I am very close to my family. my elder sister is a physician (radiologist); she attended northwestern and completed her medical training at the University of Chicago and at Harvard. i have a tremendous amount of respect for my parents, who have sacrificed a significant amount in their own lives for us to be able to realize our dreams. they have selflessly loved and supported me. most importantly, they have always reminded me the importance of respecting others irrespective of backgrounds, living life with humility by removing ego from within the heart, gracefully accepting god's will when our prayers are not answered, and remaining positive in all phases of life.

I was born in Amritsar, Punjab and i moved to Chicago when i was 5 years old. i am fluent in both english & punjabi and can comfortably converse in hindi. I am open to all castes/cultures/languages because the soul is not tagged to a specific caste/culture and love/respect is the most important method of communication in a lasting and strong relationship.

In terms of profession, I'm currently a management consultant at pricewaterhousecoopers (pwc). i've completed my mba @ northwestern university - Kellogg school of management. i really love basketball, enjoy listening to ted talks, and hiking/outdoor activities (among other things). i love bhangra music and bollywood movies. i also listen to spiritual songs to immerse myself in the ultimate truth in life. i also love desserts (more than the average person). i really enjoy traveling; i've visited almost every major city in the usa multiple times.

although i am career driven, my friends (and even colleagues) would describe me as very light-hearted in all other aspects of life (laughing is living and smiling is key). i believe that my life partner will be the most important person in my life and one of my main goals in life would be to ensure that there is a smile on her face and joy within her heart at all times possible.
