Shiva is from a very well known Nair Family in Trivandrum. Shivas father retired as the Chairman & Managing Director from a Public Sector Financial Services Company in April 2018. His late grandfather, from the Chettoor family in Palghat, retired as Member, Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, Chennai in 1984, after which he continued as a Central Govt Standing Counsel and as a leading tax lawyer at the Kerala High Court.
Shivas mother, a home maker, is from Varkala whose father held a senior position in the Kerala Electricity Board and later retired as a Chief Engineer from Dubai.
Shivas only brother is currently working with an MNC in Chennai and his wife, from a well known Nair Family in Kottayam, works with a Special Education Organization in Chennai.
Shivas parents are currently settled in Sasthamangalam, Trivandrum.
