Hi! Just an initial introduction. I was born in Delhi but have been in NYC all my life. I grew up in Queens in a close-knit family with parents and 2 younger siblings. I am very close to my siblings and love hanging out with them. Overall I'm a believer in family first. Most of our extended family is also in nearby areas. Although I grew up here I enjoy celebrating both the Indian and American customs and traditions, having the best of both worlds. I am fluent in Hindi and understand and speak Punjabi as well. I went to college in NY, getting a BS in Comp Sci and MBA and currently working in an IT role in the city.

A few adjectives that would describe me: easy-going/go with the flow, family-oriented, approachable, loyal and humorous. I am always looking out for others. To me the smaller, simpler things in life and company matter the most. I undoubtedly love to laugh and make others smile and laugh (sometimes at my own expense) and if you can laugh at yourself, it's a plus.

A few things I do love: watching and playing basketball, listening and dancing to English/Hindi/Punjabi music (love Bhangra!), trying and reviewing new restaurants/desserts on Yelp, cooking, traveling, amusement parks, comedy/Broadway shows, video/board games. I also try to visit a new place or 2 every year and do lots of sightseeing. I have a huge travel & activity bucket list I equally enjoy a good balance of going out and staying in.

Overall having a supportive partner by your side makes all the difference. I am looking for someone who is family-oriented, respectful, humble/down to earth, with a good sense of humor (handling sarcasm is a plus!) and someone I can easily talk to and values simplicity.
