- Juhi is a Social Entrepreneur and an EI (Emotional Intelligence) educator and is the Founder and CEO of two
ventures, an NGO and a Private Firm. Juhi is the founder and CEO of Light Up, Emotions Matter Foundation. It is one of the first few social ventures
that is advocating the need to practice Emotional Intelligence in the form of Social-Emotional Learning Workshops for the underserved population focusing on developing their social and emotional competencies. It has been able to impact 10,000+ beneficiaries in a span of 3+ years and collaborated with 30+ organisations to enable each individual to lead happier and more successful lives.
- In January 2020, Juhi launched her private venture, which advocates about the need to practice Emotional Intelligence through the inclusion of Social – Emotional Learning Programs. Her venture curates SEL educational programs, internships , bootcamps , workshops for school and college students as well as young professionals.
- Prior to starting her own venture in 2017, she had gained corporate experience of over 5 years and had worked with Multinational Companies such as Edelman India, Xander and National Program for Homeless, and TEDx. She had also been associated with The World Bank, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and WHO.
Family Details
We are an upper middle-class family based in Delhi for the last 35 years. Recently we shifted to Noida. Ours is a well-educated family with modern outlook and a mixture of different cultures. We believe in imparting good moral values, respect for traditions and sound upbringing in our children. All our siblings (the girl’s paternal and maternal side) are well educated and well settled in their respective professions and businesses in Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Agra, Firozabad, UK and USA. Our children are exposed to the culture of both sides of their parents and respect the customs, traditions and values of both sides. (Tamil as well as North Indian)
