I am based in Bandra Mumbai and this is the city where I was born and grew up. Ours is an industrialist family with interests in the technology services business. My passion and interests are in investing and finance and I ended up spending most of my career working in Investment Management / Mutual Fund industry. Professionally I am Managing Partner of prominent Private Equity company that invests in IT Services companies globally. We are headquartered in Boston and have offices in San Francisco and Mumbai. I am the co-founder of this Private Equity ventures along with two other well know leaders in the Technology Services industry as my partner. I also remain active as an active investor and look out to buy stakes in Indian mid-sized businesses. I have already collected stakes in a few quality Indian firms thanks to one of my heroes Warren Buffet. (Do travel regularly to Omaha to pay my respects at the AGM!)

What keeps me energized and engaged is an ongoing desire to grow. Enjoy learning more about my profession – as well expand my horizons through engaging with some of the smartest people around reading and traveling – quite purposeful In addition to work and career I am engaged in promoting entrepreneurship in India through providing assistance to talented individuals starting out. Deep research in Value Investing also interests me. My research has got published in a book and case studies published at the HBS.

On the personal front, it is always a joy to spend time with my friends and associates. I would get described as someone who is engaging thoughtful smart loyal and has a sense of humor. Taste in music is western classical and contrasting that with Bollywood – old and new. Love fine dining great wines and good living. Sincere (but can do better!) with my fitness regime. I am regular with workouts and have goals about where I need to be.
