I enjoy pursuing intellectual and creative work and love to learn. I enjoy reading and more recently writing for children, and cannot imagine a world without books. My other interests include learning Indian classical music, playing tennis, golf, ping pong when time permits, and going to plays and concerts. Conversations, interesting people, and ideas are always invigorating, as is a cup of hot chai! While I have many friends, I am close to a handful and feel the closest to my immediate family. I find peace in nature and the outdoors, and enjoy exploring parks and trails.
Since relocating to DC, I've tried to make the most of all the museums that the city has to offer. I have grown up with a spiritual outlook to life, although am not ritualistic. I'm quiet yet talkative with those who are close, hardworking, ambitious, patient, curious, and always up for an adventure! (I've tried my hand at sky diving and trapezing, and would highly recommend both!).

- I grew up in Bombay and have been in the US since 2009. Growing up, my parents encouraged us to enjoy the finer things in life, while living within our means. Many holidays would rather be spent on traveling to new places and visiting local places of interest, exploring its history, museums, and galleries or on music concerts, books, cultivating a new hobby.
