- We belong to a reputed and affluent Rajput (Suryavanshi) family settled in Delhi. Ours is a nuclear family. Avanee is the fourth daughter, the eldest daughter is married in a Punjabi Khatri family residing in W block, GK 1. The second daughter is married in a Jain Business family residing in Charmwood Village. The third daughter is married in Punjabi Khatri business family also residing in South Delhi.
- The family business is in the education sector, we have a Senior Secondary School in Defence Colony (South Delhi), a Primary School in East of Kailash and a Preschool in Africa Avenue Marg. Avanee takes an active interest in the working of the Primary School in East of Kailash. Avanee's mother and three sisters also look into the day to day running and managing of the three schools.
- Avanee's father passed away in May 2001. He was an active politician and a social worker besides being the chairman of the Society running the educational institutes. He was an extremely humble human being, a well-reputed, kind-hearted soul ever ready to help anyone in distress.
- Grandfather was a very dynamic personality and a philanthropist under whose aegis the educational institutes were started. He was a self-made entrepreneur and a well-known figure in our clan.
