Ours is an upper middle class, traditional Hindu family having a spiritual orientation. Our hometown is Roorkee (Uttarakhand). Most of our family members are engaged in Government jobs and placed in respectable positions.
I am a PG in Civil Engg. from IIT Roorkee and currently working as GM with THDC India Ltd (a CPSE under Ministry of Power, GoI) and based in Rishikesh. My wife is a post graduate in Chemistry from IIT Roorkee and she is a homemaker. I have one son, who is currently pursuing B.Tech. in CS from IIIT Hyderabad.
